Tammie Burrows

My love of music dates back… well I’m not going to tell you exactly when, but a long time ago. I remember as a child I would sing all the time and loved every minute. From elementary through high school, I took advantage of any and all opportunities to sing. My passion for instrumental music began in 1986 when I started playing the violin. I continued studying the violin through the twelfth grade then decided to pursue a Music Education degree with a concentration in instrumental music at Anderson College (now Anderson University) in Anderson, South Carolina. I sang in the AC Choir, AC Chamber Ensemble, and Radiance. I graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor’s of Music Education in instrumental music with a major in violin and a minor in voice.

After graduating, I took the orchestra position at Chesnee Middle School, which later expanded to Chesnee High School. I have enjoyed teaching and ministering to my students and will continue that ministry as long as the Lord sees fit.

In what free time do I have, I enjoy reading, Gamecock football, and my summers off to spend time with my family.

The Lord has blessed me beyond measure as a Christian, wife, mother, and teacher. I love serving the Lord while I sing and play the violin with Faithful For. I am looking forward to what God has planned for us as a family and a ministry.
